Pond Inlet, NU
I have arrived! This is home for the next three weeks and I already dread leaving. The people here are extremely welcoming and very, very glad to have us. Photos to come when light hits the land around 9:30-10AM - the sun only returned February 6th!
A book will be written about me and how my over-critical view of English caused me to have a miserable life. The symbolic colour that will run between the events of my life will be salmon. The book will be called “The Petrified Deity.” (I question the order placement of those last two pieces of punctuation.)
Morning music: Michael Jackson - Will You Be There Whitney to follow.
Hit -30°C. Finally, Pond prep!
Today I found a valley, crossed a river, visited an old battle site, had a very long talk with my Grandad, and began saying good-bye to many of my new friends.
Dream: Summer booster seat-front seat buddy lemur named Ringo.
